Cozy Etiler

Cozy was envisioned as a restaurant where warmth, intimacy, and refined design come together to offer a dining experience beyond taste, one that blends gastronomy with art and atmosphere. The goal was to create a place as inviting as a home, yet sophisticated enough to deliver an exceptional fine dining journey. Every element was designed to make guests feel both special and at ease.

The project began with the search for a building with untouched character and authentic history. After seven months, the perfect location was found, a 40-year-old structure, in Etiler, surrounded by greenery and exuding a sense of lived-in charm. This building’s unique spirit became the foundation for the design concept, shaping a space that connects with nature while maintaining a distinctive urban elegance.

Spanning 650 m², including a 330 m² interior and 200 m² outdoor space, the restaurant offers multiple experiences within one cohesive narrative. The main dining hall, a lounge by the iconic gold-toned fireplace, the bar, a winter garden, and a social terrace each deliver a different mood while maintaining design unity. Signature elements such as the Chef’s Table and Social Table encourage interaction, while carefully curated artworks from artists including Güneş Terkol, Sinan Logie, and Esk Reyn, bring depth and personality to the space.

The design merges timeless modernism with sophisticated classical references, using natural materials such as wood, marble, and handcrafted ceramics alongside a palette of earthy tones, deep greens, and metallic accents. Vintage and custom-made furniture pieces were combined to enhance the restaurant’s layered atmosphere, complemented by textured textiles and soft lighting for a sense of intimacy.

Every detail, from the chef’s open kitchen and custom ceramic bar to the curated selection of furniture and art, was planned to engage all senses. Cozy is ultimately a fine dining destination that breaks the formality often associated with the concept, replacing it with warmth, authenticity, and a sense of belonging.
